Abstract

Antigens have been obtained from HeLa and J111 cells by treatment with fluorocarbon. Cross absorption studies revealed that the antigen from HeLa cells had no serologic relationship to normal human uterus. Antibody for HeLa extract coated red blood cells was found in 25 percent of the sera from patients with malignant diseases.
