Abstract

How very sad that Sarah Kuteh was dismissed for telling a patient with cancer he would have a better chance of surviving an operation if he prayed ( see news ). We say similar things all the time in the United States. I have been a nurse for more than 20 years and have never heard anything so sad. Holistic care should include physical, social, psychological and spiritual care.
