AIM: The study was undertaken to evaluate the cardioprotective effect of the alcoholic leaf extract of
MATERIALS AND METHODS: Rats were treated with 100 mg/kg of
RESULTS: The MILE treated group showed decrease in serum biomarker enzyme levels and increase in tissue antioxidants levels. Compared to DOX control group, MILE treated animals showed improvement in lipid profile, electrocardiographic parameters, histological score, and mortality.
