Dihydroorotase (DHOase), a dimetalloenzyme containing a carbamylated lysine within the active site, is a member of the cyclic amidohydrolase family, which also includes allantoinase (ALLase), dihydropyrimidinase (DHPase), hydantoinase, and imidase.
