This chapter examines the STEM education policies for the United States and Canada. The chapter presents a historical context for the emergence of STEM policy within the respective countries, as well as an overview of infrastructures and investments into STEM education. The chapter will also discuss existing assessed impact of STEM education policy investments and discuss future directions for STEM education policy within the United States and Canada.
