Despite training large numbers of STEM workers, policymakers debate whether the United States produces a sufficiently large STEM labor force. This paper investigates the internship experiences and job search strategies of two graduating cohorts of chemistry and chemical engineering majors from 2015 and 2016 at two universities in the United States.
