Abstract

Cost containment and cost benefit studies are solely needed to affirm the role of the allied health professions in delivery of health services. This edition of Potential Patterns identifies pressures that will make these questions central issues over the next several years. Suggestions as to sources of information in the literature and ongoing allied health education programs are cited.
