The first paper in this series, which appeared on April 13, looked at some of the information patients and their families might want to know about stroke. This paper takes a look at how a physiologically much simpler subject might be handled. This series is not looking for the definitive guide to pathological conditions. It aims to draw on the expertise of nurses around the country to provide starting points or supplementary material for patient information guides that can be used in a variety of ways. Readers are invited to contribute.
